Paintball Arena Progress!
Work has started at Skirmish Exeter, we've had the diggers in to expand the car park, adding space for another 40-50 cars. With the expansion of activities at Skirmish, such as Airsoft and Archery, we have tackled the problem of the car park always being full.
The Laser games kids arena has now been cleared, and the grass is starting to grow. Once the grass has grown, the inflatables will be positioned, and kids from the age of 6 and up can begin to enjoy a safe, hazard free enviornment to play laser tag.
The Missile arena is now completed, and looks amazing. After a few test runs of the arena, we have positioned the barricades in the right place and created the perfect battle ground, which has already staged some fantastic firefights!
The missiles are positioned at the top of the arena, and the attacking team must clear the area of defenders, and press the switch on the electronic countdown timer, to stop the timer, and prevent the scud missiles from launching.
Skirmish Exeter is all about creating a unique and exciting experience for our paintballers, airsoft players, and laser taggers, and it has become apparant through our expanding group of returning customers, that we are succeeding in providing a quality service. However, we are currently making huge changes to better your customer experience at our site, and your opinions matter to us.

Hope to see you soon!

This week at Skirmish Paintballing Exeter
The main update for you this week is the decision on the layout and design for the new Laser Games arena.
The arena will be situated where the target range currently is, and will be a grass pitch, with lots of differently shaped inflatables all over it, creating a permanant arena for children aged 6+.
The new inflatable arena will be a fun new game zone to play in, aswell as a safe alternative to the game zones out in the woods, and the natural hazards that come with them (logs, trenches, badger holes!), that parents may not want their young ones to be running around in.
I am personally excited to see the completion of this inflatable "Laser" arena, as i think it would make a great paintball Speedball arena!
As for other updates this week, the Village is still under construction, but is nearing its completion, and will definitely be ready for the new season. Ideas are being put together for the types of games that could be played on this new arena.
As always, more information on a day out at Skirmish Exeter can be found at http://www.skirmish-paintballexeter.co.uk

Changes!
This year will see some exciting changes to many aspects of the site at Skirmish Exeter.
Game zones are constantly adjusted to create new and exciting conflict areas on each arena, whether it involves just repositioning barricades, or introducing vehicles and structures into areas, Skirmish Exeter is forever changing.
Last year saw the completion of the bridge and fort arena (pictured above), this involved a brand new bridge structure, three times wider than the last one, and with new game objectives such as placing four blocks of C4 in strategic positions to blow up the bridge and win the game.
The end of this year, and the beginning of 2011 will have our new game arena "The Village" seeing its completion. This new arena is currently being built, and will feature a village, containing structures built around a central point which one team will need to defend, and the opposition will attack.
We are also expanding other features besides paintball, to accommodate for those people too young for paintball, and those that don't like getting shot! This involves Laser Games, Airsoft, .22 rifle ranges and Archery.
Laser games currently use the existing paintball arenas to play games, an addition to this will be a permanent inflatables arena, which has a variation of inflatable barricades in different shapes and sizes over a grass playing field, ideal for those aged 6+. This playing field will be charged at an all inclusive group hourly rate (price tbc), perfect for parents planning childrens birthday parties.

More information coming soon!
